The Sunday Salon is an event that allows lovers of literature to interact with the writers of some of their favourite books at the Kwani Trust offices on Riverside Drive in Nairobi. Last Sunday, the literary community was in for a special treat when they hosted top African writers Noviolet Bulawayo from Zimbabwe, South African Karen Jennings and Nigeria's Yewande Omotoso. In attendance were Kenyan writers Okwiri Oduor and Billy Kahora, who are both nominees for this year's Caine Prize for African Literature.
