Mombasa women participated in the first networking event at the Travellers Beach Hotel last Friday. Kokie Rading, the CEO of Waridi event organisers, said women need to empower each other by sharing life and career experiences. She said Mombasa ladies need to get the same opportunities like their Nairobi counterparts who are way ahead in term of empowering one another. Grace Kirimi, Kenya Women Finance Trust Mombasa branch manager, and Busy Bee Schools CEO Christine Okotch shared their experiences on how they came from humble beginnings to establish big businesses in the region.
