Mother’s day was celebrated all over the world on Sunday with mothers recognised for the amazing work they have done raising us. Horse racing enthusiasts were not left be- hind as they attended the special Mother’s Day race day at the Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi. World of Approval jockeyed by James Mirri made quite an impression on the guests. In attendance was a special team celebrat- ing Mother’s day including Lindsay Calder, Sophie Harrison, Kat West, Tana Pike and Tanya Leakey. Also at the event were airline pilot Captain Mohamed Subow, and advocate Rose Muigai.
