Ahadi Kenya was started in 2007 to combat the jigger menace in Murang'a where its founder Stanley Kamau hails from. With the support of many, including former Miss Kenya Cecilia Mwangi, the organisation has grown exponentially and is now fighting jigger infestation in the East African region. The organisation celebrated its seventh anniversary at the Kamahindu Primary School in Kiambu County last Saturday.
