The 2014 Kenya National Motocross Championships kicked off last Sunday at the at Jamhuri Park Racetrack in Nairobi. The MX 1, MX 2 and MX 125 classes were the main crowd pullers with riders roaring round the challenging track in a series of power slides, jumps and tear away bursts of speed along the short straights. The biggest draw of the day was Tutu Maina in the MX 2 category. Away from the track spectators also followed proceedings. They included Andrew Kenneth son of politician Peter Kenneth and Kipini Conservancy Trust Chairman and CEO Dr Farouk Sherman.
