Press Freedom Day is commemorated on May 3 every year to celebrate press freedom around the world. As such, there are a number of activities to mark the occasion in many countries. In Kenya, the Media Council of Kenya led by Joseph Odindo of the Nation Media Group hosted a regional Journalists’ Convention.
