Sharad Rao receives Commonwealth games torch

This year the Commonwealth Games, one of the biggest in the world, will be hosted in Glasgow, Scotland. The Games' torch flagged off by Queen Elizabeth on October 9, 2013 is set to travel through all countries and territories of the Commonwealth over 288 days covering 190,000 kilometers with a message from the British monarch. The Commonwealth Games started its African leg when it arrived in Freetown, Sierra Leone on December 30, and was received by Kenya's Sharad Rao a legal advisor to the Commonwealth Games Federation.
