The Tandawizi Festival, hosted at the Kenya Cultural Centre in Nairobi, had ten days of workshops and performances in afro-salsa, jazz dance, capoeira, break-dance, African dance, contemporary dance and a never before see drum jam. The festival ended with a party at the TreeHouse, Westlands in Nairobi on Saturday night. One of the attractions at the event was the presentation by Drums in the Dark, where visually impaired percussionists create a flow of sounds alongside an electronic music producer, making for a very unique, live experience.
