The Wahome Mutahi Literature Prize was started by the Kenyan publishing industry in 2006 to celebrate the great satirist. The prize awarded biennial, is given to an author who espouses the values of the author. The 2014 edition of the prize was awarded at the Nairobi Club on Ngong Road on Saturday evening.
